The approach
The words come first
Most brochure projects go wrong in the same place. A designer builds a beautiful layout with placeholder text, the copy arrives, and it is 40% longer than the boxes it has to fit. What follows is either cutting the argument to fit the design, or redoing the design — and the argument usually loses.
We settle the copy first: what the brochure has to say, in what order, and roughly how much space each part deserves. Only then does the layout get built, around real words rather than around Lorem Ipsum.
It is a slower start and a much faster finish, and it is the reason a brochure ends up saying what you meant rather than what fitted.

1. The brief
What the brochure is for, who receives it, and where — handed out at a trade stand, posted, left on a counter, or sent as a PDF. Each of those wants a different piece.
2. Copy and structure
The text, laid out in order with the panels marked, so you can see what goes where before anything is designed. This is the stage to disagree.
3. Design concepts
Layout, type and colour built around the approved copy, working to your brand if you have one and building a consistent look if you do not.
4. Revisions
Changes to either the words or the design, until the brief is met. Because the copy was signed off first, this round is usually about polish rather than rescue.
5. Print-ready files
Supplied to your printer's specification — bleed, trim, colour profile and fold marks. Send us their spec sheet and the files will match it.

A brochure with one decision-maker who responds quickly can be finished inside a week; one going through a committee takes as long as the committee takes. The two business day turnaround quoted elsewhere on this site is for standard writing and does not apply to a designed piece.
Printing is yours to arrange. We supply files built to your printer's specification rather than acting as a middleman on the print itself, which keeps you in control of cost and paper stock.
And if a brochure is not the right format — if what you actually need is a landing page, or a one-page leave-behind rather than eight panels — we will say so before taking the brief.
