Website Maintenance Service
Website Maintenance Services
A website is not finished when it launches. Software needs updating, backups need taking, and small things break. Our monthly maintenance plans handle all of it, so your site stays secure and working without you having to think about it.
Starting from
$71/mo
- Maintenance by our in-house web team
- Updates tested before they reach your live site
- Monthly report on what was done
- No lock-in contract on standard plans
The problem
What happens when nobody maintains a website
Most websites that get hacked are not targeted. They are found by automated scans looking for a known weakness in an outdated plugin, theme or CMS version. Security reports on WordPress consistently find that the large majority of vulnerabilities are in plugins and themes, not WordPress itself, which is why keeping them updated matters so much.
Neglect causes slower problems too. A contact form quietly stops sending, a page breaks after a browser update, the site slows down as images pile up. Nobody notices until a customer mentions it, or until search traffic drops.
Maintenance is the routine that prevents this: regular updates, backups, checks and fixes, done by people who know what to look for.
What we do
What our website maintenance service covers
Software and plugin updates
CMS core, themes and plugins kept up to date, with updates checked for conflicts first.

Scheduled automatic backups of files and database, stored away from the live site and ready to restore.
Security monitoring
Malware scans, security checks and quick clean-up if anything suspicious appears.
Bug fixes
Broken forms, layouts and links fixed, so small problems do not become lost enquiries.
Performance checks
Speed reviewed and tuned: images, caching and database clean-up.

Small text and image changes handled by our team, and by our writers if the copy needs work.

How it works
How monthly maintenance works
1. Site review
We audit your site: platform, plugins, backups, security and speed, and fix anything urgent first.
2. Baseline backup
A full backup is taken before we change anything, so there is always a way back.
3. Monthly routine
Updates, backups, scans and checks run on schedule, plus any requests you send.
4. Report
A monthly summary of what was updated, fixed and checked, and anything we recommend.
Choosing a plan
Website maintenance plans and pricing
We offer three monthly plans: Starter at $71 a month, popular with startups and personal websites; Standard at $104 a month; and Premium at $137 a month. Larger plans suit busier sites, online stores and sites that need more hands-on time each month. We recommend a plan after reviewing your site.
If you also want us to host your site, our Hosting and Maintenance plan combines both. Larger changes, such as new pages, features or a redesign, are quoted separately so your monthly cost stays predictable.
Honest limits
What maintenance can and cannot prevent
Maintenance greatly reduces the risk of hacks, broken features and slow pages, but no one can make a website immune to every problem. What it does mean is that there are recent backups, that updates are not months behind, and that someone responsible will deal with issues quickly.
If your site was built with abandoned plugins or a theme that is no longer supported, we will tell you during the review and explain the options.

Our monthly plans are Starter at $71, Standard at $104 and Premium at $137. The right plan depends on your platform, how many plugins or integrations the site uses, and how much hands-on work you expect each month. We recommend a plan after a free review of your site.
Yes. Even if your content never changes, the software behind it does. CMS, theme and plugin updates fix security issues that are actively exploited by automated attacks. A site that is never updated becomes more vulnerable over time, whether or not anyone edits it.
Yes. Our maintenance plans work with any reputable host. We need administrator access to the site and, ideally, access to the hosting control panel for backups and troubleshooting. If you would rather have hosting and maintenance in one place, we offer a combined plan.
We clean the infection, close the hole it came through, restore from a clean backup if needed and check that search engines are not flagging the site. For sites on our maintenance plans, this is part of the service. For sites we do not yet maintain, a clean-up is quoted separately.
Updates occasionally conflict with a theme or plugin. That is why we back up first, check updates for known issues and test the site afterwards. If something does break, we roll back and fix it before re-applying the update, so problems are caught by us rather than your visitors.
Yes. Standard maintenance plans are monthly with no long-term contract. If you cancel, we hand over your latest backup and any log-in details we created, so you or another provider can carry on without interruption. Nothing about your site is held back or locked to our accounts.
