Business Proposal Writing
Business Proposal Writing Service
A proposal is read by people deciding between you and two others. It has to answer their questions, in their order — not describe your company.
Starting from
$40
- Written by an in-house team, never subcontracted
- Revisions included until the brief is met
- Confidential — your documents are not reused or shown as samples
- No lock-in contract on standard services
The problem
Most proposals answer the wrong question
The typical proposal opens with the company's history, lists its capabilities, and puts the price at the back. It is organised around the seller. The people reading it are organised around a decision — can these people do this specific job, do they understand what we asked for, what does it cost, and what happens if it goes wrong.
Proposals lose on that mismatch far more often than they lose on price. A reader who cannot find the answer to their question assumes it is not there.
They also lose on evaluation criteria. Where a buyer has published how they will score submissions, the proposal has to be structured against that scoring — and a surprising number are not, which makes them cheap to reject.
What you get
What a proposal order includes
Delivered as an editable document, formatted and ready to send.
- An executive summary that states the recommendation, not a company introduction
- Your understanding of their problem, in their words, before any solution
- Scope written specifically enough to be scored against the brief
- Deliverables, timeline and responsibilities set out so nothing is assumed
- Pricing presented so the reader can see what drives it
- Risks and assumptions stated rather than hidden, which buyers read as competence
- Revisions until the brief is met, not a fixed number of rounds
Not sure which option fits?

How it works
From brief to submitted document
1. The opportunity
Who is buying, what they asked for, any published evaluation criteria, and the deadline. Send the RFP or tender document if there is one.
2. What only you know
A short call covering your approach, what you have done before that is relevant, and what your honest weaknesses are on this bid. That last one shapes the proposal more than anything.
3. Structure agreed
Section order mapped against their criteria before writing starts, so nothing is written twice and nothing required is missing.
4. Draft
Two to three business days for a standard proposal. Complex or tender-length documents are quoted with their own timeline before you order.
5. Final document
Delivered editable and formatted. If you win or lose, telling us which is genuinely useful for the next one.
Scope
What we write, and what we need from you
Sales proposals, responses to RFPs and tenders, partnership and sponsorship proposals, and grant applications where the format is a proposal rather than a research bid.
What has to come from you is anything a stranger cannot know: the actual capability, the relevant history, your pricing and margins, and the names of people who would do the work. We can shape all of it and press you for detail, but we cannot invent it — and proposals containing invented specifics are the ones that fail at reference-check stage.
Financial modelling and legal drafting are outside what we do. Where a proposal needs either, we write around your accountant's or solicitor's figures rather than producing them.
Confidentiality
Your proposals stay yours
Proposals routinely contain pricing, margins, staffing and client detail that would be damaging in a competitor's hands. Documents we write for you are not reused, not adapted for another client, and not published as samples.
That is also why this page does not show a portfolio of proposals. Any agency displaying its clients' bid documents is telling you what it will do with yours.
Pricing
What it costs
Proposals start at $40 for a short, straightforward document. Most sales proposals land higher, because the length follows the size of the decision and the amount of research the bid needs.
Formal tenders and RFP responses are quoted individually. They carry mandatory sections, word limits and scoring schemes, and pretending they price like a standard proposal would only produce a number we could not hold.
Send the brief or the tender document and you will get a real figure and a real deadline.

Two to three business days for a standard proposal once we have the brief. Tenders and long RFP responses are quoted with their own timeline up front. If your deadline is tighter, say so before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.
No. The proposal is one input among price, existing relationships, references and timing, most of which sit outside the document. What a good proposal does is stop you losing for avoidable reasons — an unanswered requirement, an unclear scope, a summary that never states the recommendation.
Yes. Send the tender document with the deadline. These are quoted individually because mandatory sections, word limits and published scoring criteria change the work substantially.
No. Documents are not reused, not adapted for other clients and not published as samples. Proposals contain pricing and staffing detail that should not leave your business.
The opportunity and any brief or RFP, plus a short call about your actual capability, relevant past work and pricing. The most useful thing you can add is where you are weak on this bid, because that is what the proposal has to work around.
Revisions until the document meets the agreed brief. There is no round limit — if it has not done the job, it is not finished.
