Why choose individually
Not every book needs a package
Publishing packages are a good deal when you need most of what is in them. They are a poor deal when you are paying for an edit your manuscript has already had, or a cover you commissioned last year. Experienced self-publishers, and authors moving a book from another service, often fall into this second group.

Fitting in with your existing files and suppliers
Choosing individual services means our work has to fit with someone else's. A cover designer needs the exact trim size and page count to set the spine; a formatter needs to know which platform the files are for. We ask for those details before starting so nothing has to be redone.
If something you already have will cause problems, such as cover art below print resolution or a manuscript that was formatted for a different trim size, we tell you before you pay for work that depends on it.

Yes. That is what Selected Solutions is for. Many authors come to us for a single service, such as a proofread, a cover or ebook formatting, and handle the rest themselves. We quote that one service with no obligation to buy anything else.
Yes. Common examples are a new cover, a corrected interior, a rewritten description or an extra format such as a hardback. Updating a live book usually means uploading new files to the same listing, and we explain what changes, and what does not, before you decide.
It is when you need only a few. If you need editing, a cover, formatting, distribution and marketing, a bundle normally costs less in total. We will tell you which works out better for your book. Some authors start with one service and add others later, which is fine too.
Yes. We regularly format books edited elsewhere or lay out interiors for covers designed by others. We just need the final files and specifications, such as trim size and page count, at the right stage. If something we receive will cause a problem in print, we flag it before starting.
